The Bottom Line:
The Hampton Inn is located in northern San Diego and one mile away from Del Mar beach. Guests love the close location to Seaport village and the Midway which are within walking distance, and the Tio Leo Mexican restaurant that is across the street. The rooms are popular with customers due to the large LCD TV and king-size bed that are standard. Everyone agrees the service is laid back and friendly, but warn that it is not suited for business travelers.
