The Bottom Line:
The Viceroy Palm Springs is right in downtown Palm Springs. It is next to Melvyn's restaurant. The hotel restaurant, Citron, is Old Hollywood style and guests praised the food, but some disliked the decor. Guests also found the rooms to be 'dated' in their decor, and even tacky, and not as clean as they might have been. Rooms are also on the small side. However, reviewers loved the Neil George bath products, iPod docks and fluffy white towels and robes. The hotel has three pools, two of which are adult only, but reviewers warn that this is not always enforced. Service was praised as accommodating and friendly, especially the concierge and valets.
