The Chase Hotel of Palm Springs is in the Tennis Club district and a block from Palm Canyon Drive. The Art Museum is an easy walk. Rooms are large with seating areas and kitchenettes. Guests liked the televisions with DVD players and balconies. All rooms overlook the pool and are clean with soft, comfortable beds. The hotel offers free, good quality continental breakfast, and guests loved the afternoon cookies. Decor is 1930s, and reviewers mentioned it subjectively, with some liking it more than others. The pool is salt water and the property is pet friendly. Wireless and parking are free. Guests praised the staff consistently, especially the manager's habit of bringing his own home-grown grapefruits.
