The Bottom Line:

The Courtyard Palm Springs hotel is a couple of blocks from Palm Canyon Drive, and in the older part of Palm Springs closer to the airport and the mountain tram. It is an easy walk to the Spa Casino and Sherman's restaurant. Rooms have small balconies overlooking the pool. The free internet is wired not wireless, but guests liked the spacious rooms and foam top mattresses. Microwaves and minifridges are available on request. Reviewers warn that the television is in an awkward position, but it does have HBO. Also, the room air conditioning units tend to be noisy. Many prior guests had issues with the staff being rude and unhelpful.
