The Bottom Line:

The Colony Palms Hotel is in downtown Palm Springs and across the street from Cheeky's restaurant. It is less than ten minutes from the airport. The property is older, but has been recently renovated with a Moroccan theme. Guests liked the high thread count sheets, fluffy robes and lavender scented toiletries. Some rooms have claw foot tubs, and the mini-bar options were unusually varied. The pool and the poolside restaurant were found to be pleasant. The property is pet friendly, with a small fee. Service was friendly and late checkout easy to obtain, but some guests had minor issues with housekeeping and delayed check-in.
