Located directly along the Monterey Peninsula, Mariposa Inn and Suites offers visitors a newly refurnished ‘boutique experience,’ near attractions such as Monterey Bay Aquarium, Old Fisherman’s Wharf and the famed 17-Mile Drive. While most of the guestrooms come furnished with gas log fireplaces, all contain free Wi-Fi access, flat screen HD televisions, iPod docking stations, microwaves and refrigerators. Visitors highlighted spaciously well-lit bathrooms, stocked with bathrobes and H20 Spa toiletries. Those traveling with pets were satisfied with the Mariposa’s $40/night ‘pet deposit,’ and guests indulged in the heated outdoor pool and impressive patio (complete with public fire pits).
