Laguna Beach, California was made popular a few years back with a popular reality series; however, it is not all a bustling area, much of it is packed with family fun. Crystal Cove State Park consists of a fusion of 2,400 acres of woodlands and 3.2 miles worth of beach. Swimming, fishing, surfing and scuba diving are popular water attractions, while bike riding, horseback riding and hiking are popular on land. At the Laguna Art Museum, the primary focus is California history. Some of the exhibits are beach and surf themed to reflect the essence of the city. Noguchi and Brad Coleman are two of the many artists that have been featured at the museum. The beauty of Hortense Miller Garden is a can’t-miss, because of the 2.5 acre garden filled with perennials and local flowers. Visitors may enjoy a tour of the grounds Tuesday through Saturday, all year long.
