The Bottom Line:
The Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate is a fifteen minute walk from Disney. It is also across the road from Garden Parks, which has restaurants including Bubba Gumps. Rooms are suites with full kitchens, and guests appreciated the ample bedding and fireplaces, but some found the beds themselves less than comfortable. Some reviewers, however, complained about noise from both the highway and neighboring rooms. The hotel has a shuttle to the park, but some guests found it unreliable and it was not free, so reviewers recommended walking. The free breakfast received mixed reviews in terms of quality. Service was praised, especially the free grocery shopping service and reliable availability of early check-in.
