The Bottom Line:
The Grand Californian is right on Downtown Disney with private access to California Adventure. It is close to restaurants including Storyteller Cafe and Napa Rose. Guests loved the comfortable beds with down pillows and comforters, the fluffy robes, flat screen TVs and mission style furniture. Some reviewers, though, arrived to dirty rooms. The hotel has two large pools with a rock slide, as well as hot tubs and a toddler pool. Guests enjoyed the pool, but did feel the lack of a poolside bar. Service was complimented consistently, although some felt the room service menu was limited.
