My name is Mary Jo (MJ for short). I'm 26 years old and live in one of the greatest cities in the good ol' US of A, Chicago! I grew up in a Sicilian household where the people were loud and the food was out of this world. My love of food has grown into my passion and I love sharing that with others. Carb Before the Storm was started partly due to the copious amounts of carbs consumed on a trip to Italy and party due to the encouragement of friends who were sick of hearing me rant about food.
