The Bottom Line:
The Sheraton Desert Oasis is on the north side of Scottsdale, close to the 101 loop and to high-end shopping including Kierland Commons. Rooms are one and two bedroom suites, some with full kitchens, decorated in a southwestern style. Guests appreciated amenities including large televisions and dual shower heads, with some suites having whirlpool tubs and fireplaces in the master bedroom. The hotel has two pools, one of which has a poolside snack bar, a waterfall and a large hot tub. Reviewers appreciated that the second pool, designated quiet, is completely separate. They also enjoyed on-site activities that included root beer float parties and western story time. Staff were friendly and good with information, but there is no daily maid service.
