The Bottom Line:

The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch is close to the Shops at Gainey Ranch and Gardunos Mexicanos restaurant. It is about a ten minute drive to downtown Scottsdale. All rooms have balconies, although they are separated from neighbors by lattice screens, and are decorated in beige and slate. Reviewers liked the glass walk-in showers and Portico eucalyptus toiletries, but found the lighting in the bathroom dim. The hotel charges a resort fee which covers internet and fitness center use, but guests warn that the included internet is slow and data capped. Reviewers enjoyed the drinks at the lobby and poolside bars. The hotel has several pools with waterslides and a fake beach. Guests found service good, especially the specialized golf concierge.
