The Bottom Line:
The Fairmont Scottsdale is two minutes from the 101 loop and fifteen minutes from downtown. It is close to Kierland Mall and the Grayhawk golf course. Rooms vary, and some are extremely large suites. All have tasteful linens, great pillows, and fireplaces. There are two five star restaurants on the property, Bourbon Steakhouse and La Hacienda Mexican. There are three large pools. One contains a swim up bar and is adults only at certain times of day. Another pool becomes a 'Dive In' theater. It is a large resort, and some reviewers warn that it is easy to get lost. Reviewers loved the on-site Willow Stream Spa. Guests recommend paying extra for the Gold level, with perks including breakfast, internet and daily newspapers.
