The Bottom Line:
The Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort is on North Scottsdale Road, close to Old Town and the Fashion Square shopping mall. Prior guests liked the down comforters and plentiful, soft pillows. Rooms are large with high ceilings and balconies or patios, and the coffee makers come with Starbucks coffee. The hotel even provides sunscreen packets in the rooms. Rooms have minibars and flat screen televisions. The property has two pools, a tennis court and a putting green, and reviewers loved the landscaped grounds with cactus gardens. Reveiwers also liked the outdoor bar with firepit. However, they warn that there is no wireless internet and the hotel charges extra for wired access. Staff members were described as polite and welcoming, and handed out warm cookies on check-in.
