“We stayed for 12 days. On the 5th day I woke up with a few bites, by the 8th day I was covered and bites were becoming infected. They told me they were mosquito bites without looking at them. I went to the fromt desk to show someone my arm as I had caught one of these bugs on my pillow at 5am in the morning. Confimed bed bugs. Had to destroy most of our clothing and fly home early to get medical help.
Still waiting for Marriott to pay for what I had to destroy and my medical bills.

The Bottom Line:
The JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa Phoenix is an upscale resort in the Scottsdale downtown close to the Keirland Commons and right next door to the Desert Ridge Marketplace. However, the hotel does not offer transportation to and from the airport. Rooms are large with balconies and spacious bathrooms. Prior guests appreciated the quiet a/c units and comfortable beds. Rooms also have marble bathrooms, flat screen TVs, in room safes and ethernet internet connections. The hotel offers free wi-fi in the lobby. Reviewers appreciated the pool complex, which is especially good for children.
